A couple weekends ago, a friend asked me to take some pictures of her daughter on her first birthday. Of course, I was happy to do so. So, with the help of some party decorations and beautiful natural lighting, I got some pretty good shots.
So, I have only done a couple of maternity photo shoots. I am still learning and working on posing. I would never, ever suggest or expect a client to get into a position that would be painful, uncomfortable or potentially harmful! i have seen several maternity shoots and thought "Oh my goodness! How did she get in that position?" or "Is that pose and position really safe?!" So, I am stuggling to find a balance between safe and creative. I want my clients to have unique, creative and lovely photos. Does anyone have any tips or secrets to creative maternity photos?
